How did you pick your Vox name? Does it mean something?

yeoz is zoey backwards. I use it almost everywhere: irc, metafilter, flickr, neogaf, etc. Except for when that other evil yeoz takes it, the one that plays that mmorpg which shall not be mentioned. I hate that guy. Anyway, that's all there is to it. *clicks save and goes off to bed*
No, really, that's all there is. Why are you still here?
Well, I bet you want to know where 'zoey' came from?
zoey is short for "zoey on a stick".
Don't even think about asking me about that.
What is your favorite scent?

My favorite scent? It's probably this particular bubble bath. Yeah, I know, it's just a little girly. So what? *grrrr* Sometimes a nice bubble bath after a long day of crazy stuff at work is just what it takes to make all your worries go away, at least, right up until waking in the middle of night because the phone is ringing because a server is down. Dagwood from this Sunday's Blondie strip would probably agree with me. Although, I guess I just admitted to liking bubble baths and girly fragrances. Hmm. I do lather with this bath gel though, so the end result is pretty much a wash.
(edit: I haven't started NaNoWriMo yet, because I'm still waiting for my tablet pc to ship. Although, I guess it would be helpful if Fujitsu actually had the product in stock on their website. Looks like I probably won't be starting anytime soon...)
I was complimented on my breath today. It was a male coworker, so it was just a bit awkward, but, a compliment is still a compliment. We previously had a conversation around the water cooler about other coworkers' bad breath and I had asserted that the only reason why he really cared or even noticed such a thing was because he was the son of a dentist. Coincidentally enough, on the same day, I read this comment, and, decided that I was going to start brushing again that very night. (edit: the water cooler is actually just a vending machine. it's artistic license, chinji, sheesh!)
Of course, the main reason why I wasn't brushing very often normally was because it was a pain in the ass, but, more to the point, it was something that I would easily forget to do. In fact, there are a lot of silly little things that I'm supposed to do everyday that I often forget to do. Including a lot of work-related things (don't forget to load tapes!), that, I would only remember sometimes because of recurring tasks set up in my calendar and synced to my Treo, which would beep incessantly until the task was dismissed. I added a few additional recurring daily (private) tasks to my phone, and, viola, personal hygiene was suddenly scheduled back into my life.
It worked out well enough that I also ended up adding a few tasks to my Outlook at home, including a task to update my vox blog. I've trained myself pretty well not to ignore tasks, in part because of work. And, hopefully, this will be all that I'll need to keep this blog going. I've also added a NaNoWriMo task in part because of prompting from Squizzle (who's doing it this year along with his SO). (Well, and NaNoWriMo was also the perfect excuse to replace my old tablet pc, but, please don't tell anyone else that.)
