What's your method for calculating a tip?
When dining out, I always tip at least 20% of the after tax total, calculated on the spot with my Treo, and then rounded up to the closest whole digit or five or ten depending on the service. When using the corporate card on business trips, though, I tend to tip much higher, usually close to 50%, as I know I'll get reimbursed by the firm for it anyway. And, at bars, I almost always tip the full amount of the bill, 100%, irregardless of the service, just because. Tipping for everything else is decided right then and there, and it's usually some absurd percentage, because I usually tip tens or twenties, even on total bills smaller then that.
I blame NYC for my uncontrollable tipping habits... :-(
